Services
The
organization utilizes a mix of community volunteers,
attorneys and professional staff to offer a full array of
programs and services that include, but are not limited to:

Providing legal and case management services to
facilitate the appointment and administration of
court-appointed adult guardianships of the person and
estate.

Training and supervisory community volunteers to serve
as temporary and permanent guardians of the person.

Annually monitoring the quality of guardianship services
available in the Northwest Indiana community.

Educating the general public and the medical social
services, residential service providers and legal
professional services communities about the need for
quality guardianship services and the capacity of
the NIAGS programs to meet those needs.

Providing information and referral services regarding
guardianship issues.
-
Professional Education Programs (Annual Northwest
Indiana Symposium).
-
Other related legal and human care services as needed in
the community.
